Summer Intensive 2016 | LDTA | Centennial State Ballet

. . .

Mission – Longmont Dance Theatre was formed on August 31, 1998 to establish a pre-professional ballet school and youth company for Longmont and its surrounding area, while providing a venue for our community to experience live ballet performances.

Summer is the perfect time to try something new
or participate in our intensive programs
and improve as an artist!

We offer something for everyone,
starting at age 3 -18 as well as adult dance classes.

LDTA’s Ballet Intensive Program
The full six-week intensive program is formulated especially for our students, though LDTA also offers two, three, and four week options as well. Each week features a different focus for each level, including Aerial, Tap/Jazz, Chinese Dance, Hip Hop, Modern, Stage Combat and more. Younger students will also participate in crafts and a short performance at the conclusion of the week. Students may customize their summer program by taking weeks in a non-sequential manner by ‘Building Your Own Summer Program/BYOSP.’ Students must enroll for the ballet technique class and the focus class. Tuition cannot be pro-rated due to missed classes or vacations. Returning patrons, please register in the ballet level for which your child has been assigned through your email registration notification.

Tuition and Registration
Fees shall be paid on or before the first day of class.

August Advanced Intensive
In addition to the summer intensive program, LDTA will also offer an advanced week of class for the serious-minded dancer. The curriculum is focused on building technical strength, stamina and flexibility, while nurturing artistic development.

Other offerings:
Children’s Division Classes
Open Division Classes (Boys, Aerial, Hip Hop, Tap, Jazz and Adult classes)
Tutu Costuming Seminar
